Damnation Goes Retail
If you paid attention to the Make Something Unreal Contest back in 2005, you probably remember a mod called Damnation that made waves. It was a third person shooter and action platformer with a clever blend of steampunk, fantasy, and Western themes.
Well, it looks like it caught the eyes of the guys at Codemasters and it's well into full retail production! The game now utilizes Unreal Engine 3 - and looks quite impressive as you can see from the shots below. It will be headed to PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 for Winter 2008.
This one came across our desks a few days ago, so thanks to everyone that sent in the news. We simply wanted to confirm that this was still an Unreal Engine project. So... consider it confirmed.
