Gears 2 To Bring Language, Blood Filters

What They Play, has apparently learned that Gears of War 2 will
include swear and gore filterspresumably in an attempt to increase the audience for the game. As if 5 million copies in a few months isn't enough? :) Here's the dirt:
However, a new point of negotiation will become a factor this year; Gears of War 2 includes filters for both the violence, and the language. Microsoft informs us that the violence filter "turns the blood into sparks," while the language filter "takes out all the swear words."
Maybe we'll see this functionality operational once again in the next UT game.
