larrystorch: What do you think was the greatest movie ever made?
As with the authors, I've kept out the popular responses of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and the Matrix. Here's the ones that stuck out to me.

Christopher Norton: Dumb & Dumber. I've watched it so many times that I practically know all the lines.

larrystorch: That's just scary.

CoCoPRo: Full metal Jacket

daz:A Bridge to Far (absolute classic war film)

Arnold Kruize: Several, Shawshank Redemption, Arnie-movies, any movie including Brianna Banks

Kai Kirchner: All Tarantino movies. and.. The Big Lebowski.

Goldabar: Chitty-chitty Bang-bang.

job:Fight Club, Snatch, La Haine, Pulp Fiction, Twelve Monkeys, The Matrix, Memento

Rich Black:My 6th Birthday party tape, those panning shots were cinematography at it's best.

Toby Rees: That's a hard one, I'd have to say Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, or a British film of the same genre.

Jason Hipps: The Tactical-Ops 2.0 Trailer.

Poneill: Dunno...isn't that supposed to be Citizen Kane by Orson Welles.

ScHlAuChi: I would say Fritz Lang´s Metropolis (Osamu Tezukas animated remake is great, too) and Katsuhiro Otomo´s Akira, because both movies were ahead of its time and made a new genre popular... I also like the Back to the Future, StarWars and Indiana Jones Trioligies..

Strac:Bladerunner (the director's cut). There are loads of movies contesting, but Bladerunner just is a notch ahead of them.

larrystorch: Strac wins this one hands down. Here is you prize. A box of BuF Truffels :)

larrystorch: Who is your favorite musical artist?

Chris Norton: I like alternative music (Blink 182, Sum41, The Offspring, etc).

Deyan Ninov: I like rock, progressive, classical rock, but Megadeth is my favorite band, then I think its Pink Floyd not sure, there is just too many, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Ozzy, but its probably Megadeth, cant believe what happaned to Dave

EMH_Mark3: I don't really have a favorite artist per se.. Right now I'm into Bad Religion though.

eXpendabLe: Again hard to say, but Im a reject from the 80's so Im going with U2/Depeche Mode/anything new wave.

Goldabar: Lately I've been listening to a lot of REM, and a bit of System of a Down and Grinspoon. I have wide tastes in music but tend to hate everything that Stu (one of our mappers) likes :)

j3rky: Im addicted to Happy Hardcore... and I like all of them. If I had to name a composer anyway, it would be James Horner for movie soundtracks.

job: Sounds of Whales Vol. 5

Rick Black: I'm into a lot of stuff, very broad ranging, from stuff like Hoobastank, Linkin Park, Michael Nyman, The Doors, Muse, Feeder and The Music (peoples LP) are some things I've got on now. I also like house, especially chilled and some American vocal.

Jason Hipps: That dead guy...

larrystorch: Which one? Cobain, The guy from STP, Hendrix, Blind Melon dude, etc, etc....

Poneill: Again, hard to say. Some favorites include (in no particular order) Joy Division, Hüsker Dü, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab, Dinosaur Jr, Throwing Muses, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, The Smiths, The Pixies, Belly, Suicide, PJ Harvey, Belle&Sebastian, etc etc etc...

R4V3R: Uhm so many Gigi D'agostino, PPK, Daft Punk, Mario Piu, Matt Houston...

Shag: I wouldn't use "favorite", as i like listening to many different artists and music styles, but i would pick Serge Gainsbourg as the best artist, he's a genius!

Jack Gilson: Does Run DMC count?

Strac: Depends on my mood, i listen to a wide range of music, from The Doors to the Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Eels, Garbage, Beck, Supergrass, Muse, house music, etc. etc.

larrystorch: Do you have any habits/idiosyncrasies that people think are totally weird?

Chris Norton: Uhhh.... not sure if this counts, but I can sleep with my eyes partially open (so I've been told). It freaks everyone out.

CoCoPRo: I like playing naked

Dr. Crowbar: Mostly just the fact that I think other people have so many idiosyncrasies that I find weird.

daz: Having to turn lights on and off 26 times before i leave a room LOL j/k

EMH_Mark3: Most of the time I don't make sense. I just love messing with people's head :) (.. or DO I ?!)

eXpendabLe: Finishing someone's sentences with obscure random thoughts really freaks people out.

Janis Bode: I seem to gesticulate a bit much from people's opinion and I launch very loud.

Kai Kirchner: I use 3 lines to say one sentence, sometimes.

Goldbar: I like to go to the zoo and fling my poo at monkeys.

j3rky: Maybe, but people are usually too shocked to tell me.

Jestah: I tend to use too many smileys :)

job: "I don't know what your problem is, but I'm sure its hard to pronounce."

Tim Crowley: I constantly fart whenever I can...does that count?

Rich Black: If someone says something, I'll sing a phrase of a song back at em. Usually make sense, though very odd. I can't help it though.

Timo Kuttenkeuler: Actually I AM wierd.. I am constantly happy @ work not even once in bad mood ... it's frightening.

Jason Hipps: I spell colour, honour and words like that correctly, I use the metric system, and I sometimes just start speaking/writing in other languages for no reason. Oh and job is my grandmother.

Nassau: I eat very slow, which is a good habit, everyone else is wrong. :D

Poneill: Stare at a computer screen 12 hours a day. I sometimes chew the inside of my cheek, which totally gimps up my face.

rojazz: Yeah...I snap with my right hand a lot. It's a tick I picked up when I worked with special ed kids in January. Basically, anyone who works with special ed kids ends up picking up one of their ticks.

ScHlAuChi: I stay up the whole night and sleep during the day like a vampire ;)

Shag: Lately i found myself having ice creams in front of columbo. People find that very weird. ;)

Jack Gibson: Yea, I make maps for nor profit.

Strac: I laugh like a madman when I'm playing TO. And i tilt my head while playing and make strange looks on my face. Ow and I'm addicted to using smilies ;)

Stuart: I think it has to be the fact I talk ALOT, although there are probably others that they haven't told me about, guys..?

larrystorch: Do you have any habits/idiosyncrasies that even you find weird?

Chris Norton: I don't believe that anybody truly thinks that what they themselves do is weird. hehe

CoCoPRo: I tend to visit ladies bathroom.

larrystorch: I think that's called a perversion not an idiosyncrasy.

Dr. Crowbar: I check my email every 5 minutes but never turn on icq anymore.

daz: rubber gloves, black bags, baby oil :O)

eXpendabLe The fact that I think up obscure random thoughts freaks me out.

Janis Bobe: If there were then I'd try to get rid of them. Sometimes I speak a little fast and hard to understand.

Goldabar: I like to go to the zoo and fling my poo at monkeys. I need help :(

job: To doubt.

Tim Crowley: Then I smell them? Wait...forget I mentioned that ;)

Rich Black: I eat my boogers (can I say that here?) j/k. Desp does though. Saw on his webcam :D

Jason Hipps: Sometimes I understand women, which is supposed to be scientifically impossible. I will often work off of a 48 hour day, and forget what day, month, and year it really is.

Nassau: I check my email 5 times a day even tho i get less than 1 interesting email per day.

rojazz: Yeah. See above. That thing really pisses me off.

Shag: I would probably sell my soul for lollypops. :)

Jack Gilson: Yea, I make maps for nor profit.

Strac: The tilting and frowning when playing TO, but i swear to you: it helps! And those damn smilies argh :D

Stuart: yeh, I drink waayyy too much tea.
