Desert Thunder GraphicsWhile Desert Thunder uses Unreal technology, the mission level graphics are bland and repetitive. You can see this for yourself in our picture gallery. Some of this is surely due to the fact that you're over there in the Middle East, in a desert, fighting terrorists. Still, I would have liked to have seen some more imagination put into things like the structures and other constructs.Sound/MusicNot much happening here either, I'm afraid. As a bargain-level game, it appeared clear to me that there was simply not much effort put into creating an audio environment to enhance gameplay. Specific things I noted were a lack of enough discrimination between the explosion sounds from the different shell types, lack of thematic background music, and lack of enemy infantry 'chatter', all of which would have helped the game.
