    AS-BP2-Acatana

This map features some great visuals along with a variety of gameplay styles. The first portion of the map takes place in space, and you must use space fighters to fight your way through the defenses and destroy a few objectives. The next part of the map takes place in an open battlefield with minigun turrets and plenty of weapons to go around. Following this, there's an indoor section, with loads of Z-Axis gameplay. Overall, there's something in this map for everyone. Performance is slightly below average, unfortunately. Changes from the original include refined visuals and some geometry changes... nothing too major.

    AS-BP2-Jumpship

This map also begins with a space fighter portion. The indoor part of the map features all sorts of gameplay, from tight hallways to large, open rooms. The visuals are clean and uncluttered, and performance is excellent. It seems that a skilled team could hold certain objectives a bit too easily, but this is counter-balanced by giving the offense some more firepower.

    AS-BP2-Outback

This map takes place in an Australian desert. Yep, you heard right. There are beautiful hills and trees, custom static meshes, along with some unique pickups and custom-animated kangaroos. The performance remains high despite all this visual goodness. The gameplay is on the verge of being too straightforward. Your team is given vehicles and you must basically fight your way through a series of choke points and destroyable objectives. Overall, I cannot see this map being used in competitive play, but I'm sure casual players will have loads of fun with it.

    AS-BP2-Subrosa

Wow, this map OWNS! Great visuals, great performance, and some unique gameplay twists. We've all been able to count on Angel_Mapper to deliver some top-notch content, and she has triumphed once again. My only gripe is that a few of the rooms felt a bit too constricted, but other than that this is a great map with unique visuals and gameplay.

    AS-BP2-Thrust

If you've played the CBP2 version of this map, you'll be familiar with the basic concept. Your team has to fight around an island, setting off rockets and triggering guidance systems. This new version has some refined visuals, improved performance, as well as a few added objectives. The older version could be completed fairly easily by a decent team, so these changes should make the map a little more challenging.

And there you have it... the new content from Epic Games' UT2004 MegaPack. Two thumbs up for the time invested in this pack and in the community.
